The Executive Board of the Arkansas Association for the Assessment of Collegiate Learning (AAACL) recently launched a campaign to recruit institutional members to the organization. A letter was sent to the chief academic officer at each higher education institution in the state seeking their participation in the newly formed organization.

The $300 annual institutional membership provides several benefits including professional development and networking opportunities, unlimited faculty and staff participation in the AAACL listserv, a semi-annual newsletter, and two free registrations for the annual AAACL conference.

Interested persons should contact the appropriate individual on each campus and ask that he or she consider becoming a member of AAACL. Your personal contact will help assure that the Academic Officer understands the importance and value of our organization to the state of Arkansas and to the advancement of assessment efforts in our state.
