On April 5, 2007, a group of assessment professionals from throught the state of Arkansas gathered on the Arkansas State University campus in Jonesboro to determine the value of creating a statewide assessment association. During the 2007-2008 academic year an advisory board met periodically to draft a constitution and promote the development of this state-wide association. On April 22, 2008, the First Annual AAACL Conference was convened on the campus of Arkansas Tech University in Russellville. |
